The Gathering of the Clans Collection, Volume One: The Anniversary Edition

First published in 1991 the collection has gone through several editions reaching world-wide sales of well over 3900 copies.

The Collection has been out of print for several months so it was decided to offer a limited Anniversary Edition of 100 copies. Thirty-two new arrangements and compositions have been added to the original collection of 92 tunes bringing it to a total of 123 Marches, Reels, Strathspeys, Hornpipes, Jigs and Airs three of which are suitable for smallpipes fitted with a High B key or ‘pinched’ notes on a highland chanter.

Tunes from the “Collection” have previously been recorded by soloists such as Alasdair Gillies, Roddy MacLeod, John Cairns, Barry Shears and Hamish Moore and pipe bands and folk groups such as Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, Cantrip, Seudan, and MacMillan and MacKinnon.
